Manage your settings and customize the alerts for your Detect profile based on your business needs.
It is the administrator of each profile who can change the settings.
The recommendation for all administrators is to watch our training video. To view video click HERE
Settings on alerts
Snooze
With the "snooze" function (pause), it is possible to pause warnings from being generated again of the same type to the same payee.
An example could be that warning type F tax must be paused for a 30-day span from the previous warning of the same type to the same payee. See range below:
30 days
90 days (Quarter)
180 days (Half year)
90 days is set as the "default" setting unless otherwise specified.
Exclusion
Go to "active settings" on the selected warning to exclude an organization number or account number. This means that the selected account number/org.nr will not generate any warning at all going forward. Remove excluded entries by clicking the trash can icon.
Be careful when choosing which companies to exclude and use the exclusion sparingly as there is a large security aspect to removing companies or recipients from the control.
Set amount limits
The warning "amount" is generated when payment is made with an amount that is above or below a specified amount limit or is made in a specified currency defined for this Detect profile (warning does not apply to credit payments).
Setting an amount limit on payments can provide several important added values. The majority of businesses have processes and routines that involve an extra control of very large amounts, this can create security, control and an increased degree of maturity for the business's internal control. There can also be added value in being noticed for very small amounts, e.g. payments below SEK 10, as there is a cost associated with carrying out transactions.
Set the conditions under which the Detect account should be alerted for the "amount" warning. Enter a general amount limit in a certain currency, or an amount limit to a specific account number. Choose whether the amount limit should be above or below the specified amount.
Manage warnings
We always recommend that you manage your warnings to have continuous control and the possibility of follow-up. Managing alerts gives you the ability to share an warning with a colleague or write a comment to describe whether the alert was approved or if it was a serious incorrect payment that required action.
Mark your warning as closed to always keep track of which alerts are unhandled and which have been checked.
