If there is a person on the sanction list who has an identical/similar name to a person associated with the company, this will be displayed with a warning Sanctioned. Inyett never claims that it is the same person or that they have anything to do with each other. Inyett just points out that there is a similar name on the sanctions list. After that, you have to do your own assessment/investigation/manual check.
A check is made against the EU sanctions list, the UK sanctions list and the US sanctions list.
You can set the conditions under which the Inyett account should be alerted to the warning Sanctioned. Only the administrator has the ability to make this setting.
Adjust the settings for warnings associated with Sanctioned.
Click Settings to set how the alert should react. The setting is only possible for you with administrator rights.
To adjust settings click on Active Settings. The contents of the registry are compared against the contents of a sanction list using an algorithm and hits are given according to a scale up to 100, where 100 is an identical hit on a name. A partial match is anything under 100.
To enable Partial Match change Off to On. This means that all hits below 100 will generate a warning. If the setting is Off, only 100 on the scale, ie an identical hit is required, will generate a warning.
Click on Excluded Account Numbers, Excluded Organization Numbers to exclude account numbers/organization numbers and avoid warnings for Sanctioned. Then tap Exclude.
It is also possible to delete previously excluded entries by clicking on the Trashcan. The setting is only possible for users with an administrator role.
Click on Go to all settings to see all compiled settings for warnings and to be able to turn off a warning.
